Standing In Prayer Part III

Beloved, truth is eternal and everlasting, it will outlive every form of falsehood the devil brings on this earth therefore build your life on the truth of God’s word. Our scriptural focus for today states – I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. {Col 2:2 NKT}
Apostle Paul had a goal for labouring in prayer for the Colossian and Laodicean brethren, and even those that have not had any physical contact with him but are going to one challenge or the other in their faith.
His goal was that these brethren will be encouraged in their heart and secondly that they will be knit together by strong ties of love. From the goals of his prayer, it is obvious that all was not well with these brethren, they truly needed the prayer support of others to go through that challenging time in their lives and come out victorious.
The two basis for the prayer of Apostle Paul, may be more relevant in today’s Christianity more than ever before. There are many who are going through very difficult and challenging situations in their families, businesses/offices, health, finances, etc that needs the prayers of others that will produce supernatural encouragement in their hearts and in turn will empower such people with the strength of character to stand and come out victorious in whatever challenges that is confronting them.
Beloved your sincere prayers for others has the ability through the ministry of the Holy Spirit to sustain them in the faith and help them stand for Christ.

Prayer can produce encouragement.

Have a Grace filled day – Good news awaits you.
