Exemplary Living Part II

Beloved as you journey through life always, remember this – No amount of guilt can change your past and no amount of worry/anxiety can equally better your future, only Christ can. Our scriptural focus for today states – For we are each responsible for our own conduct. {Gal 6:5  NLT}
As you learn to prove your actions in the light of God’s word, it will empower you to live the way Christ expects of you. There is no contradiction between the instruction in Galatians 6:2 and 6:5, because two different Greek words for burdens are used. In Galatians 6:2 it is a word meaning ‘A heavy burden’, while in Galatians 6:5 it is describing ‘A soldier’s pack’. Christ expects that we His children should help each other bear the heavy burdens of life, but there are certain responsibilities or burdens each believer must bear which cannot be shared with others. Jesus assures His disciples that such responsibilities will be light to bear because of His constant presence that will always strengthen the believer.
The understanding that we are each responsible for our own conduct introduces the subject of accountability not just to our fellow men but to God the owner of our life. We must all understand that the judgement of God will not be according to the sentiments of the world concerning us, nor any ungrounded opinion we may have had of ourselves, nor upon our having been batter or worse than others, but according as our true state and conduct have truly been in the sight of God.
No one will suffer for the sinful conduct of another person, this we must all understand, because often times some people are meant to believe that they are suffering because of the sinful conduct of others especially their family members.

Let your conduct be Christlike.

Have a Grace filled day, Good News awaits you.
