Learning From The Part III
As a believer, careful planning is thinking ahead about your goals, steps and schedules and trusting in God’s guidance to actualize them. Our scriptural focus for today states – The son of the slave wife was born in a human attempt to bring about the fulfillment of God’s promise. But the son of the freeborn wife was born as God’s own fulfillment of his promise. {Gal 4:23 NLT}
As we keep considering the life and times of father Abraham here on earth, it should remind us that no human is insulated from taking a wrong step in the actualization of their destiny, if they neglect the guidance of the Holy Spirit who was been given to us to help guide us into the mind of God always.
As we journey through this earth, we will be tempted many times to take a human step to advance our destiny, sometimes with the believe that God is either slow or has forgotten the promises He made to us.
Beloved, it will be important to state that in our walk of faith with God, there is always a time lag between God’s promises and its fulfilment. Sometimes the desire to be like other’s, or the desire to start enjoying the benefits of God’s promises almost immediately, robs us of this understanding and the virtue called Patience.
Patience helps believers to wait on God’s promises no matter how long it takes to come through, and secondly it helps to increase our faith and trust in the abilities of God to fulfill His word.
We currently live a world were things happen fast and that attitude of making things happen very fast has equally been brought into Christianity. Please always remember that the ways of God are totally different from the ways of men. Don’t allow the quest to be successful, the quest to have a comfortable life here on earth and be celebrated by men lure you into going outside the will and purpose of God for your life. Some believers have put their hands into wickedness in order to be successful pastors, business men/women, in marriage etc. It may provide a momentary solution but its eternal consequences are grievous.
No human solution can achieve the purpose of God.
Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
