Today we continue our series on Pillars of A Healthy Relationship. It is important to note that a healthy relationship is not a perfect relationship, because we may never achieve that while on this side of eternity, but A healthy relationship is one that is built on the godly principles and values of the scriptures.
The foundation for any healthy relationship is going to be the individuals capacity to offer unconditional acceptance to other people, especially the one you share intimate relationship with.

6. TRUTH
Truth isn’t just a virtue to build a healthy relationship alone, rather it should be one of the fundamental principles upon which every believers daily life should be built on. The pillar of truth incorporates trustworthiness, and the capacity or the willingness to SPEAK the truth to your partner even when its not to your own advantage. It will be important to note that speaking the truth to your partner always has everything to do with intimacy and walking in the light as an example of a godly person.
Sometimes in the bid to protect our relationships, We become so afraid of the reaction of our partner to the TRUTH, that we begin to justify LYING.
Consider the following questions
1. Can you tell the truth without being scared?
2. Can you let your partner see who you truly are and not be afraid that he/she will try to change you or leave you?
3. Can you honestly tell your partner that what he/she is doing just isn’t working for you, or is it “more noble” for your relationship?
4. Will you keep enduring a false lifestyle in order to avoid conflict in your relationship? Etc.
Bear in mind that Relationships are tested for TRUTH through CONFLICTS and COVENANT.
If you feel like being imprisoned as an individual in your relationship, it means that you haven’t cultivated the pillar of TRUTH in your life. You will definitely Destroy your relationship with each other when its not built on the TRUTH. Hear this – And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” {Jn 8:32  NLT}

Truth brings freedom in a relationship.

Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
