Stand In The Truth Part IV
Beloved, the beginning of a meaningful living here on earth is the discovery of the purpose your life was created by God to fulfill. Our scriptural focus for today states – But you must continue to believe this truth and stand firmly in it. Don’t drift away from the assurance you received when you heard the Good News. The Good News has been preached all over the world, and I, Paul, have been appointed as God’s servant to proclaim it. {Col 1:23 NLT}
We have a responsibility as believers in the purpose of Christ to keep spreading the Good News of Christ to the world around us because the strategy of the devil is to on a daily basis fill this earth with different categories of bad news in order to establish fear always in the minds/hearts of humans. This is aimed at making humans think that he(the devil) is in-charge of this world. The only good thing that happened to the human world after the fall of man was the coming of Christ in human form.
Christ came that the Good News will be made available to all men. Apostle Paul and the other Apostles and all who came before us have done their part in advancing the Good News about Christ in their generation and equally ensured that it was preserved for our generation. As Apostle Paul was appointed by God to proclaim the Good News about Christ, so has God appointed you to equally proclaim the same Good News. Ensure that what you’re proclaiming is the Good News about Christ that gives humans the assurance of Eternal Life and not the bad news of the devil that only gives a sense of earthly security but leads to eternal damnation.
You have been appointed by God as an agent of Good News.
