The power of the Gospel of Christ isn’t just for the transformation of the individual believer and the church, but was also given for the transformation of the society and the world at large. Our scriptural focus for today states – Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers.
The concept of praying about everything, instead of destroying your spirit through worrying should be the lifestyle of every believer. As a believer, the temptation is always there to worry and be sorrowful due to unpleasant situations in business, work, family or the church, but bear in mind that you have been given the ability in Christ to say no. Worry is rooted in wrong thinking and wrong believe about circumstances, people or things that instills fear and destroys ones confidence in God, while genuine concern over situation gives birth to godly ideas and visions that will form the basis for the desired solution.
If we must be people who will get results in prayer, then we must consider this simple principle – Believe That God Hears Your Own Prayer. It is good to believe in the prayer of a pastor, but it is better to believe more in your own prayer. Learn to see prayer not as a religious activity that must be fulfilled daily but as a communication between you and your father. Learn to tell God how you feel and what actually is your need.
Hear this revelation – God answers your prayer not necessarily based on what you’re saying to Him with your mouth but how you feel about that need in your heart. Do not depend on other people no matter how spiritual you think they are to tell God your needs, be bold as a son to personally pour your heart out in prayer to God and believe He will answer your own prayer.
Believe in God, Believe also in your own prayer
