The Fruit Of The Holy Spirit Part X
Beloved the purpose of Christ coming to the earth and paying the ultimate price with His life, was not to start a religious movement rather He came to start a personal relationship with you. Our scriptural focus for today states – But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. {Gal 5:22 NLT}
Faithfulness is that spiritual virtue that presents a human to be trustworthy or dependable in the day to day human relationship. Faithfulness works hand in hand with integrity. Faithfulness brings a human to the platform were he/she lives a life of No suspicion, because he/she has proved himself/herself to be trustworthy or dependable over a long period of time but where this virtue is lacking, humans will constantly live in suspicion, they will be forward, they will be wayward and mostly importantly will not trust anyone.
If you find yourself lacking the ability to trust other humans as a believer in Christ, then you personally may be lacking faithfulness in your life. Our churches and society is suffering decay because of lack of faithful men and women.
Faithfulness is also a virtue that guarantees both spiritual and physical elevation. Hear this – If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities. {Luke 16:10 NLT}
We always desire as humans to have more spiritual responsibility and anointing, more financial and material blessing, more promotion in our places of work, and more increase in our businesses, without first asking ourselves if we pass the faithfulness test. Bear in mind that God will always demand faithfulness from us as His children in all things, whether it is in our paid employment, personal business or most importantly in our responsibilities in the Church.
To move to the next level, you must have proved yourself faithful in the current level where God has placed you.
Work at being faithful
Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
