Standing In Prayer Part V
Beloved, if situations of life are going against your believe, don’t accept it as God’s will for you rather remember that God created you to fulfill a divine purpose here on earth. Our scriptural focus for today states – I want them to be encouraged and knit together by strong ties of love. I want them to have complete confidence that they understand God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ himself. {Col 2:2 NLT}
Apostle Paul believed that praying for the Colossian and Laodicean brethren to be encouraged in their hearts and to be knit together by strong ties of godly love, will produce a complete confidence in the person of Christ, who is God’s mysterious plan on this earth. Having a complete confidence that they (The Colossian and Laodicean brethren) understood God’s mysterious plan was very key if they will represent Him(Christ) well in their communities.
Part of the challenge of today’s Christianity, is the lack of confidence and proper understanding of God’s mysterious plan, which is Christ by believers. The manifestation of Christ on the earth as Saviour and Lord is the mysterious plan of God, the scriptures declared – No, the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God—his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began. {1Cor 2:7 NLT}.
Beloved prayer is a spiritual weapon that is capable of revealing Christ to humans and give them the confidence and proper understanding of who He is and empower such people to stand fearless in any circumstance to both propagate and defend the person of Christ.
The mysterious plan of God for you is revealed in Christ.
