Learning From The Past Part V
Planing for your tomorrow through the guidance of the Holy Spirit , is worth all the time put into the process and will equally guarantee you a glorious future. Our scriptural focus for today states -The son of the slave wife was born in a human attempt to bring about the fulfillment of God’s promise. But the son of the freeborn wife was born as God’s own fulfillment of his promise. {Gal 4:23 NLT}
It will be important for Christians to be rest assured that every promise God has made to us, either through the written word(The Bible) or through a prophetic word by the ministry of the Holy Spirit, He already has a well articulated plan on how to bring it into fulfilment. Although father Abraham and mummy Sarah were very much aware of God’s plan and its infallibility, yet they still came to a point where they allowed their circumstance to determine their next line of action which was not in accordance with the plan of God for their lives. Some Christians are quick to blame father Abraham and his wife Sarah for taking this step, but if we consider the current realities, it will amaze us the extent to which some Christians has gone in order to make things happen for themselves which are totally against the plan of God.
Following God on this earth is an opportunity to daily grow our faith and develop our capacity to endure unpleasant situations that confront us, while waiting for the fulfillment of God’s promises. Hear these words of faith – So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. (Heb 6:18 NLT).
Keep believing God, He will fulfill His words in your life.
