Salvation By Faith Part II
Whenever you allow the devil to keep you busy thinking about life, always remember this – No amount of guilty can change the past, and no amount of anxiety can change the future. Our scriptural focus for today states – Yet we know that a person is made right with God by faith in Jesus Christ, not by obeying the law. And we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we might be made right with God because of our faith in Christ, not because we have obeyed the law. For no one will ever be made right with God by obeying the law. {Gal 2:16 NLT}
Apostle Paul goes on to emphasis that it is our believe in Christ that makes us right with God as children of the new covenant. Our faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross is of great importance to our relationship with God. Apostle Paul states categorically that no one will ever please God by obeying the law. Obeying the law deals with the issue of rules and regulations as a precondition for accessing God’s righteousness. Your faith in Christ is the only access to the righteousness of God that places you on the same level with Adam before sin entered his life.
Hear these words – Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. [Jn 14:6 NLT]. The law use to be the way to God, but God saw that the rigidity of the law made it almost impossible for human to be like Him. This gave birth to the new way established in Christ for humans to access the righteousness that empowers them to live in the class of God while on this earth.
Christ the only access to God.
