It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. {Eph 5:12 NLT}
As people who share the privileged life of Christ on this earth, there must be a great different in our conversations and lifestyle from that of unbelievers. Our scriptural focus for today states that – It is shameful even to talk about the things that ungodly people do in secret. It is clear that our conversation as believers must not contain the secret acts of ungodly people. We are warned against discussing such acts of wickedness because, it is shameful and secondly it has the tendency to corrupt you. The Bible is clear on this – Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.” {1Cor 15:33 NLT}. Do not derive pleasure in discussing such things because it is actually destroying the fabrics of your spirituality. The things we talk about is very important because they also help form our philosophies for living. When you start longing for such talks and get pleasure from it as a believer, it should be clear to you that something is definitely wrong with your spiritual life.
Let your conversations be void of sinful and shameful acts.
