Beloved building your life on practices that emphasis on the outward appearance of humans will not help you to be victorious over the tricks of the devil. Our scriptural focus for today states – These rules may seem wise because they require strong devotion, pious self-denial, and severe bodily discipline. But they provide no help in conquering a person’s evil desires. {Col 2:23 NLT}
There is no devil that is actually dressed in black with horns and tails in the human world, rather he and his demons are spirits which seeks to influence humans into permanently living a life of sin through constantly flooding the human mind/heart with evil desires/thoughts.
No believer can be victorious over this tricks of the devil through adhering to rules and regulations that emphasis on self-denial or bodily discipline practices. You must understand that the devil wants to control your life by making you think his thoughts. Sometimes when he supplies these thoughts into your mind/heart, he makes it look as though you are the one talking to yourself, not knowing that he wants to make you his captive.
Beloved to be victorious over the devil, We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments.
The human mind is the actual battlefield, guide yours jealously
