The New Creation Part III
Beloved when you deliberately allow the Holy Spirit to control your mind and thinking pattern, then your actions will always reflect righteousness. Our scriptural focus for today states – May God’s peace and mercy be upon all who live by this principle; they are the new people of God. {Gal 6:16 NLT}
When a believer in Christ spends time with the Holy Spirit through the study of the Word and prayer to understand the principle of the New creation, then that believer is setting himself/herself up to constantly enjoy the peace and mercy of God. The greatest challenge of the current church is the lack of understanding of the principle of the new creation in Christ. The first thing is to understand a principle and the most important is to live your daily life by the knowledge you have acquired. The new creation in Christ is not subject to the defects and limitations of the old creation, rather hear what the new creation says you are – But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. {1Pet 2:9 NLT}
Beloved of God you must understand that you’re no longer under the old creation were curses, limitations, fear, failures and sin etc abound. You must understand that you’re now the new people of God and you must daily allow that understanding determine you actions and lifestyle.
