Stop being mean, bad-tempered, and angry. Quarreling, harsh words, and dislike of others should have no place in your lives. {Eph 4:31 TLB}
As we stated yesterday that bad attitudes are the greatest attack of the devil against a believer, because it seeks to take you back to your old ways of living and cast doubt on your christian life. Today we will be looking at some of these vices that our scriptural focus highlighted. ‘Stop being Mean, bad-tempered and angry – these three go together. To be Mean is to act without consideration for others or to cause intentional harm to others, while bad-temper and anger is a strong feeling of displeasure, hostility or antagonism towards someone and usually with an urge to harm. What the devil hopes to achieve with these three bad attitudes is to always cause harm or disaffection among people. On the contrary, Jesus wants you as a believer to be considerate, just and a source of hope, joy and peace to others.
You can be who Jesus wants you to be.
