Christian Attitude Part IV

The uniqueness of the New Life in Christ Is that it is New everyday and equally gives the Believer the opportunity to be New everyday. Our scriptural focus for today states – In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us. {Col 3:11 NLT}

Tribalism and ethnicity has always been part of the problem of the human world. It was a strong issue among the Jews when it came to the worship of God. Having enjoyed the privilege of being the first nation God chose, it became difficult for them to accept the new thing God was doing through Christ. Before the coming of Christ, to be a Jew was a great honour and to be a Gentile was only seen in the light of the nation’s God has rejected because of their many sins.

Beloved all of that changed in Christ, the former wall of partition which kept the Gentiles out of the love of God was broken down and never to be rebuilt again in the history of the human race. Sometimes the devil still wants to trick Believers into thinking and acting the way the Jews use to think and act towards the former Gentile nations, but beloved it is your responsibility to resist him. Therefore we can boldly say – In Christ it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile.

The dividing wall has been permanently destroyed

Have a Grace filled day – Good news awaits you.
