The Believer’s Inheritance Part VI
Beloved, You don’t need to spend your energy thinking of how things will turn around for you, your job is to believe Christ and go out each day with expectation. Our scriptural focus for today states – Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation. {Col 1:15 NLT}
God made Himself visible through the manifestation of Christ in human form on the earth in order to make Himself accessible to humans and to restore the lost Dominion of man. The goal of the manifestation of Christ on the earth is to establish the image of the invisible God in the lives of humans, thereby empowering humans to live above sin and to daily walk in the creation mandate given to Adam and Eve.
To understand the victory and authority Christ has given to you as God’s child in the new covenant, you must of necessity understand that Christ existed before anything was created. The devil was created and as such his power is limited because there is One who existed before he(the devil) was created. Like the Bible said – All things were created to give Him(God) pleasure. The devil and his co-travellers has walked away from the purpose of their creation which is to give God pleasure, as such they are under those who are still living in the reality of the creation mandate. Christ restored the image of God that man lost at the beginning in order to daily derive pleasure from the life of humans who will acknowledge Christ as the revelation of His image on the earth. Allow the Holy Spirit to create the image of God through Christ in your soul and be assured of a life of Dominion here on earth.
The Christ in you existed before the devil.
