Today we continue our series on Pillars of A Healthy Relationship. It is important to note that a healthy relationship is not a perfect relationship, because we may never achieve that while on this side of eternity, but A healthy relationship is one that is built on the godly principles and values of the scriptures.
The foundation for any healthy relationship is going to be the individuals capacity to offer unconditional acceptance to other people, especially the one you share intimate relationship with.

4. Vision
Any relationship has to have a purpose and once we’ve outlasted the purpose, once we’ve outlasted the point of being together, then we start struggling with protecting the relationship.
If you don’t have values, if you don’t understand that your vision is where your relationship is headed for, you wouldn’t define the rules.
Please take note of this wise saying – Where the purpose (vision) of a Thing is unknown, abuse is inevitable. It is actually lake of defined vision for a relationship that brings about all forms of abuse and disrespect of the dignity of our human person. Vision protects our human dignity in relationship and introduces direction, and also brings about fulfilment of the set objectives.
Vision is The WHY behind any relationship that hopes to be healthy and productive.
Please think through these questions personally and later with your relationship partner;
1. WHY are we in this relationship?
2. What do we hope to achieve through this relationship?
3. Why does God think this a good idea for me/us?

What is the clarity of what is pulling us through our obstacles, through our situations, what is it that I’m willing to sacrifice right now to get then? What are you willing to work at for now to later say “This relationship is WORTH it!”?
The clarity of VISION over your relationship helps you move towards what is SCARING or HURTING you; towards a higher purpose, towards a higher goal.

Be Vision driven.

Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
