The Supremacy Of Christ Part I
Beloved, learn to turn your worries into acts of faith and watch God turn those unpleasant circumstances into your blessings. Our scriptural focus for today states – For through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. {Col 1:16 NLT}
The supremacy of Christ is over all creation both in the human world and the spiritual realm. He was able to step into the human world and transform Himself into a created human being in order to save the human race from the hands of the devil because, He was the creator of all things. For through Him(Christ) God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth, meaning that Christ was the soul of creation. He(Christ) didn’t just create the human world alone and allowed the devil to create the spiritual world, for which the devil now controls both the spiritual and human worlds. This is one of the many strategies of the devil that has kept many humans in bondage, but hear the truth of the scriptures that established the supremacy of Christ over all the worlds – He created both seen and unseen things like – thrones, kingdoms, rulers, in the unseen world.
Christ created these spiritual elements to serve His purpose, but the devil lead a portion of these spiritual elements into sin but there action did not in anyway make void the authority/supremacy of Christ over them. Understanding that Christ is and will always be Supreme over all unseen wicked powers, empowers you to live in that realm of power and dominion where Christ is seated.
