May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace. {Gal 1:3  NLT}

The gospel of Jesus Christ has power not just to transform the church, but also to transform the society, even if it is regarded as the most corrupt by all standards. Our scriptural focus for today states –  May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
Apostle Paul continues his salutation/prayer for the galatian brethren and this is usual way of blessing the brethren he has laboured over in the gospel. He says may God through Christ bless them with grace and peace. In the context of his prayer grace implies – God’s good-will towards the brethren and His good works be made evident in their lives. While peace includes – All the inward comfort and rest that the Holy Spirit alone supplies.
In the same manner as Apostle Paul prayed for the galatian brethren, we pray for you that grace which is God’s good-will and His good works be made manifest in your live and may the peace of God which ensures your inward comfort and rest rule will your life in Christ Jesus. From this day forward, as the Lord lives, this two spiritual virtues shall be the determinants of your life.

Grace and Peace be yours always.

Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
