True Christianity Part I

Beloved every moment of resistance to temptation is a stepping stone to higher grounds and the path way to a victorious living in Christ. Our scriptural focus for today states – We are writing to God’s holy people in the city of Colosse, who are faithful brothers and sisters in Christ. May God our Father give you grace and peace. {Col 1:2  NLT}
The famous Scottish preacher, Alexander Whyte was known as an appreciator. He loved to write postcards to people, thanking them for some kindness or blessing they had brought to his life. Those messages often brought a touch of encouragement to a heart just when it was needed most.
Apostle Paul was also a great encourager, and the epistles the Holy Spirit wrote through him are good examples of the grace of encouragement to the church. He refers to the Colossian Christians as Holy people, who are faithful in Christ. Two very important virtues that actually testify that these were believers indeed. Apostle Paul had not been to Colosse, but received the testimony of their faithfulness in Christ through Epaphras. His words were a great encouragement to their Christian living.
Beloved we are called in Christ to be Holy and faithful people in whatever geographical location we find ourselves. One of the greatest undoing of our world is the lack of holy and faithful people in the family, society, marketplace, even in church etc. Be reminded that God has made available for us grace to be holy and faithful in whatever environment or situation we may ever find ourselves in, and these are the true testifies of our faith in Christ.

Be Holy and Faithful for Christ.

Have a Grace filled day – Good news awaits you.
