And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike. {Eph 6:19  NLT}

Praying for one another is not meant to be optional , rather it should be one of the greatest obligations we owe each other as believers journeying through this world. Our scriptural focus for today states – And pray for me, too. Ask God to give me the right words so I can boldly explain God’s mysterious plan that the Good News is for Jews and Gentiles alike. If apostle Paul could ask the brethren to pray for him and for the success of Gods work in his hands, it is crystal clear that the success of Gods work on this earth does not rest solely on the shoulders of His ministers alone{no matter how anointed they may be}.
Cultivating the habit of praying for your pastors and other ministers of the gospel is a necessity, not just for the success of the work God has committed to them, but also to enable them declar the Truth of the Gospel of Christ with Boldness and Precession. Some ministers of the gospel have either failed in their assignment or gotten discouraged because brethren did not stand with them in prayer. Apostle Paul was going through a challenging time in the ministry at the point he wrote this letter,  its clear he was praying but also needed the corporate prayers of the brethren to be victorious.
Hear this – But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. {Acts 12:5  NLT}. Don’t assume that the ministers of the gospel should praying always both for the success of the work and for their personal life, make it a point of duty to always pray for ministers of the gospel.

You have a part in the success or failure of Gods servants.
