Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven you because you belong to Christ. {Eph 4:32 TLB}
There are godly attitudes that should dominate your life as a believer, and that is what our scriptural focus for today is pointing our attention to. ‘Instead be kind to each other, tenderhearted’. To be kind or tenderhearted is to be affectionate, benevolent, helpful or considerate to another person. These are the offshoot of the fruit of the Holy Spirit that should be constantly operational in the life of a believer. Being kind or tenderhearted is not just what you exhibit when someone has been good to you but rather you should exhibit it more when someone has hurt you and does not deserve it. These two were the bases of the miracles of Jesus. Jesus didn’t help the people of His days because they deserved it, but because of His kind nature and tenderheartedness. Instead of being mean, please be kind and tenderhearted to the people around. These things also validates your Christianity.
Kindness + tenderheartedness, a must for every believer.
Have a Grace filled day.
