God’s Mysterious Plan Part III
Beloved, learn to always be strong and very courageous in the face of circumstances that present themselves against your faith and confidence in Christ. Our scriptural focus for today states – I am telling you this so no one will deceive you with well-crafted arguments. {Col 2:4 NLT}
The devil has always used high sounding words to entice humans in order to ensure they do not believe or walk in the light of the truth that is in Christ. Therefore the Holy Spirit through Apostle Paul calls the attention of the Colossian believers to this all time trick of the devil and by extension, he is equally speaking to all believers everywhere. Apostle Paul emphasizes his purpose for revealing to them that in Christ, God has made available for them all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in order to avoid the deception of the devil. The devil always wants humans to think that he has something better to offer than Christ.
Beloved do not be deceived, the wisdom and knowledge that the devil offers is limited, it is covered in pride and its ultimate purpose is to destroy your relationship with God and condemn you in eternity.
In our generation, many have risen with well crafted arguments with the intention to confuse believers in Christ, don’t be a victim of this wind of deception that is blowing. The devil is seriously taking advantage of the poverty of money and spiritual knowledge to entice humans into believing his falsehood. Let no man deceive you, develop your personal relationship with the Holy Spirit through the study of God’s word, through effective bible based prayer and the daily exercise of godliness.
Don’t be the victim, always be the victor.
