Grace and The Calling Part II
To reveal his Son to me so that I would proclaim the Good News about Jesus to the Gentiles. When this happened, I did not rush out to consult with any human being. {Gal 1:16 NLT}
Don’t spend your time worrying about being in the right group of friends, because it is not the quantity of friends you have that matters, but the spiritual qualities they bring into your life. Our scriptural focus for today states – To reveal his Son to me so that I would proclaim the Good News about Jesus to the Gentiles. When this happened, I did not rush out to consult with any human being.
Apostle Paul declares that God revealed Christ to him personally, with the purpose of presenting Christ to the unsaved world. The Jewish religion he once boasted about only offered him an experience of outward rituals and practices, but his faith in Christ brought about an experience of inward reality with God.
The knowledge of Christ revealed to apostle paul was the foundation of his divine assignment to his generation and not his consultations with other men.
It is obvious that relying on the revelations we have about Christ from the Holy Spirit as the basis for the divine assignment’s we are to accomplish for God on this earth, is the example we have from the life of apostle paul, than to rely on consultations with men.
Build only on the knowledge of Christ.
Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
