Christian Attitude Part VI
Beloved, Christ is our message, Christ is our righteousness, Christ is our holiness and Christ is our only acceptance and approval before God. Our scriptural focus for today states – In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us. {Col 3:11 NLT}
Before the coming of Christ into the human world as Lord and Saviour, there were a lot rules and regulations that determined the relationship between humans and God. Some of these rules and regulations favoured some people, while it did not favour some other people. But after the ascession of Christ, all those wall of partition was broken down and all that now matters in the relationship of humans and God is Christ.
The most important and enviable aspect of all that God did for humans is to have Christ in His glorified state live inside humans who receive Him. What an honour, what a rare opportunity and privilege we now have. No wonder the devil can’t stop been envious of Believers in Christ, because in our former state of sin he(devil) was our boss but all of a sudden by recieving Christ in our lives we became the boss of the devil. What a wonder and glory that is beyond both the understanding of humans and the devil.
