Grace Revealed Part IV
Beloved, it is important to note that humility is the principal character of a humble and submissive believer. It is in your interest to allow the Holy Spirit produce it in your life. Our scriptural focus for today states – For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. {Col 1:27 NLT}
The secret of the gospel is that Christ lives in the inside of anyone who has recognized Him as the only source of life both here on earth and in eternity. His presence in your life is your assurance for sharing in the glory of God. So if any man does not have the presence of Christ in his/her life, that person cannot share in the glory of God that is in Christ Jesus. If you have not made Christ the Lord of your life, you can do it today. The fact remains – No human has ever regretted or will ever regret making Christ the Lord of his/her life but a day is coming when the glory of God will be revealed again in the face of Jesus Christ, then all who rejected Him will wish they were never created.
No wonder the scriptures declared – Christ in you is the hope of glory. He is the only hope of a glorious life here on earth, because a glorious life here on earth is not that which has all the good this world can offer but that life which has Christ as the foundation of his/her living and conformed to the plan of God. In such a life, the good of this world is an addition by Christ.
