That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. {Phil 2:10 – 11 TLB}

As believers, if we have decided to follow Christ with the whole of our hearts, then we must equally decide to showcase His lifestyle in every area of our life here on earth. Our scriptural focus for today states – That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
The purpose of God for allowing Christ go through these humiliations and pains in the hands of the roman soldiers, is that all people everywhere will worship and acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
The exaltation of Christ included among other things, Sovereign Authority over all creatures in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. This establishes that;
1. The authority of Christ is limitless.
2. The authority of Christ is over all human and spiritual existence
3. No human or spiritual being is above the authority of Christ.
4. Christ is Lord over all of God’s creation.
5. The supremacy of the Name of Christ above other names. Etc
To bow and confess that Jesus is Lord now that you have life on this earth is to receive the gift of salvation, but to disregard Him during your life time means you will bow before Him in eternity, which means condemnation. The choice is yours, because no human or spiritual being can reject the Lordship of Christ and go unpunished.
Be reminded that as a believer, your union with Christ gave you the privilege to both share and exercise His Sovereign authority here on earth. Christ is administering this world through believers. If every knee bows and every tongue in heaven, on earth and under the earth confesses to the Lordship of Christ, remember that Christ lives in you and these things are bowing and kneeling to Christ through you.

The authority of Christ you have is Supreme.

Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
