God’s Ambassador Part V
Beloved always bear in mind that humans can hurt you but Christ has given you the ability to handle it whenever it comes. Our scriptural focus for today states – And above all these [put on] love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness [which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony]. {Col 3:14 AMP}
The forgiveness we who are in Christ have received from God is not because we asked for it, but it was an expression of His unexplainable love. The giving of Christ to purchase the freedom of the entire human race was solely on the basis of love. No wonder the scriptures declares – For God so loved the world that He gave His One and only Son.
It is this same God-kind of love that everyone who has received Christ as Lord and Saviour has equally been given to manifest in this world. It is selfless and unconditional in all aspects. Therefore the Holy Spirit says – Above every other thing put on love, because true forgiveness can only be demonstrated when the God-kind of love has taken hold of our hearts/minds.
Beloved you cannot manifest this kind of love by your human effort, you will need to ask and depend on the Holy Spirit to shade this God-kind of love in your heart. Why not ask the Holy Spirit to shade this God-kind of love in your heart from today and living the God-kind of life will become a lifestyle.
