May God give peace to you, my Christian brothers, and love, with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. May God’s grace and blessing be upon all who sincerely love our Lord Jesus Christ. {Eph 6:23 – 24 TLB}
Manifesting the glory of God on this earth is one of the benefits of the salvation you have in Christ, but exhibiting the character of God always is the hallmark of your sonship in Christ. Our scriptural focus for today states – May God give peace to you, my Christian brothers, and love, with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. May God’s grace and blessing be upon all who sincerely love our Lord Jesus Christ. In this world that is filled with many uncertainties, it is important for every believer to rely on God as the only source of Peace, Love and Faith. Don’t fall into the trap of the devil as a believer to think that – money, a comfortable life, connections with the people that matter in the society, a well paying job, owning a profitable business venture, going abroad to leave, marrying a wealth husband/wife etc will bring these spiritual virtues of Peace, Love and Faith into your life. Note that nothing earthly can be the source of these spiritual virtues. what you see the unbelievers claim to enjoy from the devil are pleasures of sin, and they are temporary. Hear this – He chose to share the oppression of God’s people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin. {Heb 11:25 NLT}
God is the only source of these spiritual virtues and it is only reserved for His children. Equally, Gods grace and blessings belong only to those believers who Love Him sincerely and unconditional. Many hypocritical practices have been introduced in the church today as a means of getting Gods grace and blessings, please do not be a victim, what you may be getting are the pleasures of sin created in your heart by these unscriptural means.
God is the source of every good and perfect gift – you access them through godly spiritual virtues.
