The Marks Of Freedom Part I
Beloved, don’t allow the physical circumstances around you put you in constant fear of the future, put your life and future in the hands of Christ and trust Him. Our scriptural focus for today states – Notice what large letters I use as I write these closing words in my own handwriting. {Gal 6: 11 NLT}
It was Apostle Paul’s custom to take his pen and write the conclusion of his letters after dictating it to his scribes. Apostle Paul was so concerned about the Galatian Christians and their proper understanding of the message of grace as against the mixture of grace and the law that was been crusaded by some Jewish Christians, that he writes this concluding part of this letter not just by his own hands but with Large Characters.
The Holy Spirit inspired Apostle Paul to add these closing words to give more clarity between the Christian practicing the law and a Spirit-led Christian under grace. To demonstrate that the Spirit-led Christian lives for the glory of God alone and not for the praise of men. He wrote it in Large Letter to emphasize this – Don’t Miss This Truth.
We’re truly in that era as described in 2Tim 4:3-4 – For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase after myths.
The mixture of the gospel of grace and the decay currently going on in the body of Christ today, requires a lot of bold writing and bold preaching of the truth of the gospel of Christ.
Be bold in standing for the truth.
