In our scriptural focus for today, Apostle Paul lays the foundation for true Christian living. Because you were once an unbeliever, there is a likely hood that you may unconsciously continue to live your christian life with the same philosophies you had before your conversion. There is every need to reexamine your lifestyle now that you are saved in the light of this statement – ‘Live no longer as the unbelievers do’. We are asked not to live like unbelievers because they have been blinded by sin and satan, they are hopeless, they are fearful and confused etc. Living as a believer is the opposite of the way unbelievers live. Believers are meant to be bold, fearless, hopeful, full of love, full of vision, and live a life of purpose and direction. Etc………
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. {2Tim 1:7 NLT}
