Life Through Faith Part IV
Humility and patience are the surest proof of the increase of godly love in the life of a believer. Allow the Holy Spirit to work these virtues out in your life. Our scriptural focus for today states – But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree. {Gal 3:13 NLT}
The curse of the law made it impossible for some person’s with some physical defects which was neither there making to fully fulfill their destiny here on earth. The wrongdoings of men from the days of Adam, brought also a curse on the entire human race, but Christ through His death and resurrection paid in full the debt of sin/wrongdoings incurred by every human who lived before His coming to earth and those who will live on earth after His ascension.
It is a curse for a human to be hung on a tree/cross as punishment for wrongdoing, Christ went to that extent to demonstrate the love of the Father for humans and to eternally establish the process of justification by faith for any person who will dare to believe on His work on the cross as a permanent solution to the curse of sin and the law.
Christ bore both personal and generational curses as He hung on the cross, once and for all, so that no one who comes to Him through salvation will ever be a victim to any curse as long as that person lives on earth in righteousness. Christ suffered the consequences of our sin/wrongdoings on the cross, that we will enjoy the liberty God intended for humans to enjoy from the very beginning.
Under Grace, we are free from curses.
Have a Grace filled day, Good News awaits you.
