The Supremacy of Christ Part V
The light of Christ you’re privileged to house in your spirit man, cannot be extinguished by any darkness in this world. Our scriptural focus for today states – Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything. {Col 1:18 NLT}
When Adam and Eve sinned against God in the garden of eden, they and the entire human race that will come into this world through them were dead towards God, but yet living unto sin. Because all humans were dead towards God, and the only way to make them alive again towards God was through the process of Resurrection. This explains why Christ did not die of angles but took upon Himself the form of humans in order to initiate that resurrection process that will make humans alive towards God again. So Christ by His sacrifice and subsequent resurrection became the beginning of resurrection because no spiritual being or human being has resurrected before in the history of creation. He is also Supreme over all who will discover this way of resurrection in Christ.
Beloved, if you have discovered this way of resurrection in Christ, rejoice and be glad because you’re no longer dead in sin but you’re now alive unto God and righteousness. Christ who has raised you from the dead is also the Head and First in everything, and if He is First in everything, He has equally given you the privilege of sharing with Him this exalted position of been First in everything on this earth.
Christ is first in everything and you’re in that class.
