Purpose Driven Work Part VI
Beloved, when you begin to see God as your actual employer in your place of work/business, it will settle the issue of who is the source of your blessings. Our scriptural focus for today states – For he who deals wrongfully will [reap the fruit of his folly and] be punished for his wrongdoing. And [with God] there is no partiality [no matter what a person’s position may be, whether he is the slave or the master]. {Col 3:25 Amp}
It cannot be over emphasized that the quest for promotion in our places of work that will in turn give rise to a more comfortable standard of living, has lead humans to unethical practices. Obviously, some believers who do not understand the benefits of the New Creation Life in Christ has been equally cut in this web. My brethren, this ought not to be so.
We must understand that Grace does not excuse believers from wrongdoings, rather it has empowered the believer to live rightly in accordance to God’s righteous standards. It must be clear to us that if we make wrong practices a way of living in our places of work/business, – the scriptures declares that such a believer will reap the fruit of his/her folly. When a believer begins to reap the fruit of his/her folly, then the grace and mercy of God will not cover that believer.
Don’t make wrongdoing a lifestyle
