Living For Christ Part VII

For us as Christians, forgiveness is not something we do for other people, rather it is what we actually do for ourselves, to get healing for our hurt and to open up our heart to love again. Our scriptural focus for today states – Oh, foolish Galatians! Who has cast an evil spell on you? For the meaning of Jesus Christ’s death was made as clear to you as if you had seen a picture of his death on the cross. {Gal 3:1 NLT}
Abandoning the truth as revealed through Christ for the lies of the devil and the traditions of men is what God sees as foolishness. It was the actions of the Galatians that made them foolish. It was the new way of life of the Galatians that which was based on false teachings that the Holy Spirit was confronting through Apostle Paul in the Galatian church.
What then does the death of Christ mean to us, seeing that we were not there when He paid the ultimate sacrifice. Christ through His death on the cross satisfied the anger of God towards this world of sin and replaced that anger with overwhelming Love. So the death of Christ demonstrated the limitless love God has for humanity. Apostle Paul was pained to see the Galatian Christians abandon the benefits of God’s love for a process that God has rejected.
There are many misleading teachings and doctrines going on in the body of Christ today, like the Galatian situation many are following after such umbilical teachings and its making them appear foolish in the eyes of God. They thought this new doctrine will help them discover God more but it was all a waste of time. You many have a genius quest for God like the Galatians, but do not allow the devil use anyone to sow tares/falsehood that will destroy your faith instead of building it up.

Discover the truth and live by it.

Have a Grace filled day – Good News awaits you.
