Fully Established Part VI
Beloved, whenever you receive an instruction that is consistent with the scriptures, then it is the Holy Spirit speaking to you, therefore respond by obeying. Our scriptural focus for today states – For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. {Col 2:9 NLT}
The coming of Christ to the earth in human form redefined the life of humans on this earth. Christ’s sojourn on this earth, His death and resurrection brought Him to the privileged and exalted position of housing the fullness of the Godhead. All the fullness of the Godhead describes the totality of the power and supremacy of God over all humans and the devil. And all of this power and authority has been invested in Christ, no wonder He declared after His resurrection – Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. {Matt 28:18 NLT}
Christ only lived in human body for a short period of time because He paid the ultimate price while still a youth, but He still lives on this earth not in the human form that He came in but in different human forms.
Beloved you must understand that the presence of Christ in your life means that you’re now housing the fullness of the Godhead in your human body. So while on this earth, everyone who has received Christ as Lord and Saviour is the channel through which Christ will manifest all the fullness of the Godhead. You who is in Christ is now the bodily form where the fullness of the Godhead now dwells, because you’re the earthly expression of Christ and the scriptures say – Out of his{Christ} fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. {Jn 1:16 NIV}
You’re the human body expressing the fullness of God.
