Sometimes I want to live, and at other times I don’t, for I long to go and be with Christ. How much happier for me than being here!  {Phil 1:23  TLB}

The focus of humans are gradually shifting from heaven as our eternal destination, its time for believers to consciously remind themselves of this all important truth of our human existence. Our scriptural focus for today states – Sometimes I want to live, and at other times I don’t, for I long to go and be with Christ. How much happier for me than being here. Having discovered that the joy of eternally being with Christ cannot be in anyway compared with the best this earthly life can offer, Apostle Paul is torn between living and dying. He knows that living is an opportunity to keep serving Christ, but he says – I will be happier if i go to be with Christ. Coming to this point were heaven is more valuable to you as a believer is the true meaning of eternal salvation.
Hear this – Beware! Don’t always be wishing for what you don’t have. For real life and real living are not related to how rich we are. {Luke 12:15  TLB}
Dont become so earthly consumed that you loose focus of eternally being with Christ, because the value of a human life before God is not measured in the great possessions you have. May the thought of leaving this world and being with Christ always gladden your heart, and may it form a major part of your lifes expectation.

Heaven the Sweet home of believers.
