God’s Ambassador Part VII
Beloved there are different kinds of love been practiced in the world today but only the Holy Spirit can shade the God-kind of love in the heart of a believer in Christ. Our scriptural focus for today states – And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. {Col 3:15 NLT}
In the world we live in today, there are many wrong things that are happening and the purpose of some of these unpleasant situations is to take away our peace and replace it with the devil’s worry and anxiety. Jesus did not leave the Believer in the dart concerning these events, at a point He said – In this world you will have tribulations but be of good cheer for I have overcome.
In the mist of all the pleasant or unpleasant situations that may be confronting you now, the Holy Spirit is still saying to you – Allow the peace that comes only from Christ to rule in your heart. It is obvious that the devil works through unpleasant situations to trick the Believer into living in worry and anxiety, but the Holy Spirit is saying to you – You must daily make a choice to live in the peace that only Christ can give. Always remember that there are many voices speaking inside your mind to get your attention, please always learn to discern the voice of the Holy Spirit and follow His instructions.
True peace of mind only comes from Christ.
