Grace Revealed Part VI
Beloved, the act of overestimating your spiritual or natural abilities is the path of pride and self exaltation that leads to destruction. Don’t allow the devil trick you into this path. Our scriptural focus for today states – So we tell others about Christ, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all the wisdom God has given us. We want to present them to God, perfect in their relationship to Christ. {Col 1:28 NLT}
As we carry out our spiritual responsibility of warning men about the anger of God that will be revealed on those who will decide to live a life of sin during their earthly pilgrimage, we do it not to frighten or make such people live in fear but we are expected by God to warn them by teaching them about the love of God that has been revealed in Christ.
We don’t warm humans about the consequences of sin on this earth and in eternity to present God as an angry being who seeks to always punish humans, no we do it by teaching humans the truth of who God is as revealed in Christ.
Our only purpose of warning humans about the consequences of sin and the anger of God for those who choose to reject Christ, is for such people to see the light of the glorious gospel of God has revealed in the person of Christ and turn from their sins to righteousness.
We teach the love of God has revealed in Christ through the divine wisdom made available to us in the person of the Holy Spirit.
Teach Christ through the revealed wisdom.
