The Fruit Of Disobedience Part III
Beloved, never allow the devil through his many tricks lure you back into your former lifestyle of disobedience to God, because this is his ultimate plan for every believer in Christ. Our scriptural focus for today states – But now put away and rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, bad feeling toward others, curses and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips! {Col 3:9:AMP}
When your life was still part of this world, which means when you were still a sinner under the bondage of the devil, it was normal for you to live every other day in sin. As Believers in Christ, we must all realize that we had a former lifestyle of sin which the devil wants us to return to but we now have a New lifestyle in Christ which the Holy Spirit wants us to always maintain.
Now that you’re in Christ, the Holy Spirit is saying – You must put away and rid yourself completely of the these things. To get rid of the nature of sin, you must delibrately allow the Holy Spirit form His new lifestyle in you through His Fruit. It is your personal responsibility to put away every former lifestyle of sin now that you’re in Christ. Please note that it doesn’t matter how long you have missed it, the change can start today.
You can completely be Free from sin.
