Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. {Eph 6:7 NLT}
Life for a believer is about the positive impact/influence you allow the Holy Spirit to bring on people and your environment. Our scriptural focus for today states – Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. You can only see working for the organization were you are currently employed as working for the Lord, when you allow the Holy Spirit to effect a paradigm shift in your Attitude towards your circular job. To work with enthusiasm means to always be excited or interested in your job. For most unbelievers, when the pay is not fat or the conditions of service is not favourable, they lose the enthusiasm the organization expects from them as they carry out their assigned roles. Jesus says, but among you my children, It must not be so. He expects every believer to carryout their circular job with great excitement, whether the conditions of service are favourable or not favourable, because the source of the excitement or joy you exhibit on that job, is not a function of the fat or slim pay package but God. Hear this – There I will go to the altar of God, to God—the source of all my joy. {Ps 43:4a NLT}
God is the source of your excitement/joy, don’t lose focus of it.
