In Luke 2, the scripture talks about a man named Simeon. He was faithful, good and Godfearing. God had given him a promise, that he will not die until he saw Jesus, the saviour of the world.
On this particular day, he was led into the temple by the Holy Spirit not knowing why, but surprisingly he met a baby whose parents brought to present to God. That baby was Jesus, that baby was the promise God made to him.
In appreciation of God’s faithfulness Simeon declared – Now Lord, You have kept Your Promise.
Beloved, God is not a man that He should lie to you, nor the son man that He should change because of you, whatever He has promised you, He is more than able to fulfill them. Your God is a keeper of promises – Hallelujah
Decision: I will wait for the fulfilment of God’s promises in my life.
