There is a trick of the devil that he works through circumstances, which is aimed at bringing such feelings as – Am I truly a child of God or Is there truly God, or Why me etc. This thoughts tries to take hold in the heart/mind of a child of God when things didn’t go as expected.
Beloved, our circumstances whether pleasant or unpleasant does not and cannot define God or His faithfulness, rather He is the One that defines any phase of our life. Do not allow the devil to hid behind any unpleasant circumstance to shipwreck your faith in Christ.
